Get ready for the next nordic battle!

 

Across The North (ATN) is a Nordic fighting game tournament organization brought to you by Nordic FGC, for Nordic FGC (Founded in 2020). This time we’re coming back again this year with a new twist! Now we are part of the European TEKKEN Cup, a National/Regional Championships series by Bandai Namco Entertainment in collaboration with the local communities around Europe. Across The North will be in charge of the Nordic Championship where players from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland will compete to find the best player in the Nordic region.

 

Norway opens the first major at the Eldorado Esports venue on September 18th!

Generel info and format

TEKKEN NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIP from Bandai Namco Entertainment Nordic in collaboration with Across the North brings you a total of 4 national offline and 2 online events where all players can compete, develop and earn points for the Nordic Championship rankings share along with the Nordic TEKKEN 7 community.

Players can participate and earn points in all ATN events but only a player’s best 3 Community Tournament results will count in the final ranking. Winning an ATN Offline Event will auto qualify for the Offline Final. Seed: Auto qualified players get the highest seeds (1-4). The rest (5-16) will be based on ranking. The auto qualified players will be seeded (1-4) based on the amount points they earn throughout the event. An auto qualified player’s results from ATN will count in the final seeding. A player can only auto qualify from one event. If the same players wins multiple offline events then those auto qualify spots will be canceled.

 

Accomodation and plane tickets will be covered by Bandai Namco for the Finals.

 

Countries eligible to compete

To be eligible to compete in the Nordic Championship, players must be residents of either Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland or Finland, regardless of nationality.

Major Offline Events

Bandai Namco Entertainment Nordics will award:

• A total prize money of 250 €
  • 1st: 50%
  • 2nd: 30%
  • 3rd: 20%

 

TEKKEN NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIP Final

Bandai Namco Entertainment Nordics will award:

• A total prize money of 2500 €
  • 1st: 50% 
  • 2nd: 20%
  • 3rd: 13% 
  • 4th: 7% 
  • 5th (tie): 5%

 

The automatic qualification of the 2 finalists to the European TEKKEN Cup Final

One year of Bandai Namco games on Steam for the champion.
